Our Summer 2021 meeting will be hosted by Quittacus Lodge at the
New Bedford Masonic Temple, 435 County St, New Bedford, Massachusetts
Lodge opens at 10:00 am
Grand Master to be received 10:15 am
Installation of officers 10:30 am
Festive Board 12:00 pm
The installation will be conferred by:
the Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts, Most Worshipful Richard Maggio,
and his suite.
Following the installation, we will retire to the banquet hall for a themed festive board.
Tickets are required for the festive board and must be purchased by August 14th.

Topic: Forget-Me-Not and Barbed Wire Freemasonry in Germany During the Weimar Republic and the 3rd Reich
The speaker will attempt to shed light on the state of German Freemasonry before the Nazis came to power as well as the persecution and demonization of Freemasonry by the regime. And, the opposition to and collaboration by individual German Freemasons, Lodges, and Grand Lodges. The viewpoints taken by different factions within German Freemasonry regarding the survival of masonry in Hitler’s Germany will be outlined and analyzed.
This will be a 2 part presentation with an intermission in the middle for our business meeting.
